Description

AloooooooHa! After a very dark night, sunrise starts to creep in. The magic "15" minutes are about to appear. After many hours of dark background the plume is starting to appear. Suddenly these wonderful blues, and magenta's are appearing in each image as the morning light slowly begins to hit the plume. As wonderful as the colors are I find myself once again struggling to get the right exposure. Long exposures are blurring the image because of the large plume that is being revealed. I must have shot over a 100 shots in this magic moment, and alas most of them were quite blurry because of the exposure time. But I did manage to salvage a few shots during this time. More shots of this magic moment in my next few uploads...Mahalo's for coming by again and many thanks for your comments on my previous images. Have a peaceful week everyone! Aloha~

I can see the sun coming up in this picture... I need to go to bed before the sun comes up - lol... cool to see the people are alive and well and are not running around on fire. Very interesting shots... I look forward to more and thank you for sharing.

Simply amazing! Red, pink, fuschia, purple, blue, ...the colors have me shaking my head in amazement! How on earth could those two guys stand the heat and not get sprayed by the flying lava?!?! Terrific series!
