Photography has been my hobby of choice since before I was old enough to know what a hobby was. Whether it’s the neighbor’s box of snapshots I was caught sorting two years before I was old enough to go to school, the twelve shots per roll I could take on my first wind-up box camera around age six or seven, or the twenty to thirty good candid shots I took on the street today with one of my digitals, the pleasure of seeing a good photo has never diminished over the years.

I've had a number of friends tell me I should be entering my photos in contests, or posting them on photography sites, or turning them into this product or that product, or any number of other things that can be done with pictures. I haven’t done any of those yet, but what I’ve decided to do is to start sharing some of them here. I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I do.

Wow - another great shot. He looks almost like one of the leaves. Really focused nicely. Great POV and interesting story. Nicely done!

Goats are the typical way to get rid of poison oak here in the hills - I guess grasshoppers would do just fine but trying to put them in the barn for the night might be a bit difficult. LOL This is a great shot. You really found your subject and produced a wonderful photo.

these things are so camouflaged with the leaves, they are easy to miss! Great eye and capture :)

OUTSTANDING MACRO WORK... WELL DONE

Superb shot! I often wondered what they ate!

Great macro! The grashopper is nearly as a "wandering leaf". Some plants produce poisons, still some insects eat them. Then these insects become poisonous, still some frogs eat them. Then these frogs are used for arrow poison. So it goes.
