Description

Time once again, for an abstract instead of my usual Bryce renders. This was created using Apophysis and when I reached this point with the flame, I stopped; as it reminded me of a quill pen and the pages of an open book. The framing of the abstract also mimics an open book, complete with the shadow in the center spline area and the addition of the lens flare. This was created using a new program called PhotoScape 3.01; which can be downloaded free from the Web. Enjoy and thanks for viewing and commenting. Apophysis PhotoScape 3.01 (frame & lens flare) Resized, sharpened and signature with Paint.Net P.S....please don't get on me for referring to the manuscript as 'his.' I'm not at all sexist. Some of history's greatest writers were women. To use 'his/her' seemed a bit odd looking and to re-use the conjunction 'the' to describe manuscript was a bit redundant....lol

Yeah, I see it! I also see it as the writer sitting there, facing to the left, with a mighty large quill in his hand! grin

I'm glad you stopped when you did, before the abstract lost its form. You nailed this one Keith. And no need to be PC here I wouldn't have thought- I mean 'one' feels 'one' has to explain though sometimes doesn't 'one'?

A great eye for an image you have Keith. Excellent vision in spotting this one. Looks like a very classy quill and parchment. Tony.
