amazing how this woman stands in front of a whole cosmos, in part bathed in restful greens & blues, and in part 'ruptured' as if you lifted the surface and found all kinds of layers underneath. (A whole lot is going on behind her; I wonder if anyone told her!) And then you have those wonderful primitive figures, like 'glyphs' or carvings on ancient stone. They look like hieroglyphics, or like cave painting or the glyphs of the early Native Americans. And you add to all that those stars, and some beautiful purples, and plant life seen in outline in several places (beautiful!), and it's like a landscape of the soul. Quite enticing, and to me not so much a 'lost' world as an inner world, very rich, nocturnal and glistening. It's beautiful.
