Series 1 of 1. I will try something slightly differnt. The next 4 photos I will show will be a series of photos I took of Parkersburg Iowa about one month after the town was struck by an EF-5 tornado that destroyed the south half of the town. The tornado basicly leveled the entire southern part of the town. To add insult to injury the area also recieved major flooding about a week later with the brunt of the flooding being in New Hartford. A few days later the flooding would make its way into the Cedar Rapids and DesMoines area. The destruction of this storm moved me in ways I cannot express. I was in the town of Parkersburg the night of the tornado, even though I had my camera next to me, I was so stuck that I couldn't even force myself to take any photos. I just drove through the town in silence. Like I mentioned above the next several photos were taken about a month later, as you will notice, there is still alot of work, but theres hope.. New power lines and even some rebuilding along with major clean up. Thanks for viewing.
