Description

This is Serenity. She just turned a year old. Her parents participated in the Trifecta Venatorius a week ago Saturday. Her dad is the wheelbarrow in an image I posted several days ago, and her mom is ... oh ... I have a portrait of her mom that I haven't posted yet. I love taking pictures of little kids ... they're so photogenic! :)

Well, Marilyn...if her dad's a wheelbarrow, I bet she grows up to not "spin her wheels" and have a "handle on everything." :-) Tara, this really is a lovely portrait. The entire face takes center stage without any portion overpowering another so it comes across as a whole child with a whole personality looking back.

When I got my first digital camera six years ago a friend ask me to photograph her wedding and I said yes, I still wonder why since I hadn't a clue how to use the camera, anyway I ask another friend who was a professional wedding photographer for advice and she told me to fill the frame. So long story short. This is a great filled frame shot,beautifully done in B&W.
