Description
Another image from the children's book about Misty the baby dragon. In this scene, Misty just realized she rolled down the mountain - she's never even been out of her house before now! She's upset and scared - and starts crying. Considering how bad the dragons have been to the people, what happens next surprises EVERYBODY...

Oh no! Poor, poor Misty. I feel for her. Somehow I can't help but see my Labrador puppy Seven in Misty... Seven is 3 months old and though she's feisty, she would be upset too. You really grabbed me with this picture. Imagine what impace it would have on kids. Fantastic. :-)

Awww. She looks so forlorn! But not so horribly sad that it would make little kids genuinely upset to see, which seems important after visiting my nephew last week ((grin)). I really like how you paid attention to shadows, so that she looks like a part of the image instead of floating. I also like that despite the fact that you've got a lot of interesting things in the background, you still give us a close up of this emotional moment instead of trying to show "everything". This is going to be a good book, I can tell. :)
