I am 58 years young, live in Johannesburg, South Africa and I'm a true product of my continent. I love the bush, the animals, sunshine, sunsets - oh well, anything to do with nature. I am unmarried and have three sons - 37, 33 and 30 respectively and three granddaugters aged 12, 6 and 4 respectively and obviously the light of my life! Photography has always been a passion and I have loved it since I can remember. I was still using a SLR camera and only switched to digital only in late 2007! My other passion is travel and I have been lucky enough to have travelled fairly widely. There are however still many, many places I would love to visit "one day." I am truly an amateur photographer and do it merely as a hobby. So please be gentle when you comment on my work. :-) Thank you Piet, my dear friend, for convincing me to place my work on Renderosity. You owe me one! Hugs, Carin xx

What a stunning pair--how I'd love to be able to see these gorgeous creatures myself!! I'm so glad you're feeling better, and wow, 3 weeks--you must be over the moon with excitement and anticipation!!

You are dedicated, hence getting to see such wonderful creatures. I was not this fortunate in my two trips to the Kruger Park, once upon a fairy tale. Well done, Clive

You extremely lucky photographer! Capturing one in daytime is considered very lucky and a great feat. Seeing both means they were indeed mating and then not presenting themselves easily. Lovely composition and clarity.
kasalin

I am overjoyed to hear you are better. I have kept you in my thoughts and will continue until I know you are totally shed of this! Your capture is stellar. A proper comparison to you and Bruce. Great pose and you are so adventurous! Get better so you can hurry back to the bush and take more...with Bruce in tow. :-)

Mate, then depart off on your own. The perfect relationship with no responsibilities, at least on the part of the male! Outstanding POV and clarity in this capture of the gorgeous cats, Carin! It looks so dry out there.
MrsRatbag
Wonderful capture, they are a perfect couple! I'm sure their kits will be just as perfect, too... maybe you'll get to see them with Bruce! Great shot!
