I am feeling so bad that I haven't been on RR for quite a while. Thank you to those of you who have sent site mails to 'check' on me!!
Truthfully, I have had a torrid couple of weeks. This virus I had (still have) was a horrid experience and I am still suffering the aftermath with some minor symptoms. I have also lost one of my Dachhunds in a very tragic way which really put me back quite a bit. I am still not sure how I am going to get over it...
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and also for popping in! I truly appreciate every comment!
Oh - the image... I just loved the single feather lying on the lawn... No story attached.

Hon, I was going to site mail but felt you must be feeling sick enough to not be bothered with answering mail. I guess I was right about the illness. I am so worried about you! I know how much better one can feel with a special person for support so three hurrays for Bruce! I like this shot of the feather. The dof is excellent and the b/w tends to reflect your feelings for the moment.

You must need someone to take care of you...thank goodness Bruce will be there so soon! I got teary thinking of you losing your dog unexpectedly, I would fall apart completely. Hang in there, get lots of rest, and those last 11 days will be over in NO time at all. Can't wait to see the shots resulting from your new partnership! And this one? It's soft and poignant, and full of emotion. Sometimes our best work comes when we think we're not giving it any attention at all...

My heart breaks as i read your story about your health and then losing your sweet dog. Omg Carin, bless Bruce's heart for being there for you. 11 more days... wow, the time just simply flew by.
