Description

There appears to be some confusion as to the location of some of my recent shots. "Hanging Lantern," "Light and Glass: Corner Window" and "Om Mani Padme Hum" were all shot at my friend Michael's house when we were there for his 50th birthday last Friday. None of those images were taken at Trent and David's place, nor were any of them shot at the spa. Trent and David were at Michael's party, and I took the opportunity to take pictures of Trent's boots. (He was standing on a white deck, midway between the hanging lantern and the statue.) I only got a few shots of a couple of poses before he got bored and wandered off. I thought about posting this in 2D and telling you I painted it (!) but I'm too honest. It's really just filters. :)

Ah! you see I was that busy pulling my mate Alan up about the Spa I made the same mistake, you take that many pics at Trents house Tara I thought it was there. #;0) I have just read Marilyns comment and I can hear Nancy Sinatra singing in my head now. This had to be an excellent capture to get such an excellent end product with the filters. I play with the filters a lot myself but I am never happy with the end result so I post the original instead. Excellent work from yourself though. Bravo!!!!!

Back to the skinhead days, 18 hole DM's :)...Nice shot Tara, nice to see something different, I guess we take boots and shoes for granted with the camera, unless of course one is shooting for the adverizing industry :)

As far as the Mideast is concerned, no more boots on the ground! Great POV and composition, Tara, but postwork sorely needed in re the lighting.
