Description

took this earlier this week in East Texas.to judge the distance the green things on the horizon are trees.it is a maize field thanks to Maria's id.right next to the field was recently harvested corn. not selective coloring.the sky was heavy overcast and light rain.I ran for the car as it started just after I got out of my car thanks for viewing and any comments

This is a fantastic shot! I didn't know that a corn field could have such fabulous colors running through it.

There's a difference between corn and maize? I thought they were the same thing, one just being the native name for it. This is such an awesome capture, the distance for one thing, those trees are just teensy little things, looking like tallter maize plants or weeds springing up between! and the overcast sky sure does make it look like selective coloring, good thing you said it's not! It's a fabulous view!
