To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

"I get out my work and have a show for myself before I have it publicly.
I make up my own mind about how good or bad or indifferent it is.
After that the critics can write what they please.
I have already settled it for myself so flattery
and criticism go down the same drain and I am quite free.

Interesting!

you get great comments...sometimes I get lost in them and forget to comment myself! Well, "phantasm" as you probably know, comes from the root meaning "to make visible". ('Fantasy' is from the same root. Ok, enough boring linguistics!) Point is, you've made another dream world visible, and I still claim that your imagination is like 4000 I-Max's going at once. You've got some glowing planets (Saturn makes an appearance), your usual paint-spray of beautiful stars, a Celtic cross, a big sumptuous mysterious clock that Dali probably would've bought off you if he could make an appearance, and of course a star-struck soul gazing into regions beyond our sight. Then above it all, that wonderful texture that permeates the piece—part lights, part grainy, and almost like an etching ground; and it feels like a Mina soul's potpourri, a single day's dose of your teeming & vivid interior. And it's bathed in autumnal hues, which makes it not only dreamlike but very warm. I can see why you get gobs of comments: You never cease to entice & dazzle. Beautiful & magical, as always.

A jumble that is not a mess. The rambling forms find ample accomodation from their neighbors.
