I was in search mode after dortygene left the comment to my last upload, what looked to be the flower identification. I still see a different leaf and so have taken several views to help. Thank you all for the comments. -GB-

I'm about 200 miles from my flower identification guide... its on my desk at work and I'm north on the coast so I can't help I've seen this around here though. These are wonderful id shots.

Wow!!! That is much smaller than I had imagined from your other shot. Excellent work, here. Not sure if it's a spirea, but that's a good guess because it does resemble a billiard spirea from a greenhouse. It might look like yours if it were in the forest and not cultivated in a garden. Spiraea x billiardii 'Triumphans'
