Description
Dawn.Droid ships return to their homebase hives from recon flights around the surface of the planet,the massive structures visible for miles above the jungle canopy.As the first rays of the new day highlight their metallic surface,these buildings will soon be the hub of a lot of activity as the ships deployed search out Adira's location based on the co-ordinates given to them by the scout droid wasps.
All items created in Bryce6.1,with postwork involving clone stamping to break up the edges of the jungle foreground,engine flares,branches added to the foreground trees and a lens flare for additional interest to the sun.Hive textures are a metall from cgtextures.com and a modified preset for the lights.Sun was custom positioned low above the horizon,and a radial light was placed directly in fron of it for extra punch to the scene.All terrains are customs,as is the sky.The frame around the image was added in Photoscape3.1(a free photo-editing program)Thanks for viewing and all your previous comments!

Fabulous modelling on the structures Neil and also on the droid ships. Your lighting is spot on in this image and lends itself towards a wonderful atmospheric scene. Nice postwork, the clone stamp sure is a great tool to use as I'm currently finding out. Tony.

I really like this image. the models on their axises (is that how you pluaralise axis? Or maybeaxi. Oh well you know what I mean. I have to say, though, the jury's out over framing images in general. They can detract from the subject.But that's just my personal take. Its an excellent Bryce Sc-Fi scene!
