Description

Another way to view the fishing piers off the northern tip of Pine Island. Best seen at full size. The water here is calm, but Tropical Storm Fay is kicking things up a bit outside right now. Here's to hoping that she doesn't turn into a hurricane and that the worst that happens is a little wind with a lot of rain.

It's almost an eerie atmosphere reading about the hurricane and seeing the slight wave patters. I wish you good luck for the threatening weather patterns.

Another groovy shot Kort... you do seem to have a knack for finding those though. Thankfully Fay doesn't look as bad as some of the others we've had to deal with, so here's another set of fingers crossed for it staying just a tropical storm. You and the family be safe my friend.

Stellar reflectivity and geometry in this peerless capture of the piers as they recede into the distance. If they happened all the time you could call it "Frequent Fractal Frequencies."
