Description

Still a hot pirate lad, but a little different this time. I wanted to put up this image with some words or better, poem. So I chose an old song from the 18th century named "Black Is The Color", which was sung by many people (i.e. Nina Simone), though I prefer the version from Paul Weller - it's beautiful, you should listen to it if you have the chance! Anyway, I see this poem as something written by a lady who's waiting for her love to return from the sea. And the black color would fit to the image, don't you think? ;o) I used again a HDRI map (just a sky-map) for the light with one little fill-light and put a bit of depth of field to the scene. Btw, if you think that he looks too beautiful - well, I can't help you with that! :oP David/D3 - Daz The ship is the beautiful Pirate Ship from Daz - it's the closest to the PEARL and I love it! Morphing Bottle from freestuff here, texture from C6P Texture on the bandana, breeches (suede), boots and the tattoo on his back by myself, the pose too. Love the historical details in your renders. I like the poem at the side written on a transparency, too--especially with the skull and crossbones at the bottom. That sign--even if it is part of your logo, gives the poem an interesting contrast. Wonderful character and expression. I love his hair blowing in the wind, and the tatoos. Wonderful work as always!

Sassy, you're worrying us...The poem - to a love... signed Sassy Sparrow... and him - He looks a little feminan in this - I think it's his stance ... OK, I get over being worried about you just for a second to tell you - Nice upload!
