Description

Boss sent me home early do to Tropical storm Fay.....this pic lil blurry...took it as I was racing down interstate 95 ...trying to beat this feeder band home so I could get storm shutters down on windows of my house....It's 12:47am as I post this and the winds have kicked in and the clouds are hauling fast across the sky...the pressure dropped quick....leaving me awake and sporting a migraine...just glad I'm not riding out what would be my fourth hurricane....but the sound of the wind brings back bad memories...ohh whoa that was big gust...glad I put my shutters down....

That looks like the cloud of Mordor babe, dang. Hope the electricity stays put this round, and I hope Big Wind Fay blows some treasure up on the beach for you. If there's any sand left...

Hold tight. My thoughts are with you. I'm a New Orleans native, so all too familiar with these. And there's nothing like watching the feeders cross the sky. I've always loved approaching storms from the Gulf...well, as long as they aren't bringing the question of real threat, of course! A lovely capture. Hope the pressure shifts soon, so that you're out from under the headache. Gads, few things feel worse than a pressure induced migraine.
