To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

Different for sure. I love different aspects about it, like her expression and the having a bad hair day theme. There is a certain quirkiness about it too, that gives it an odd look/feel. Again, perfectly in keeping with the theme. There is a contradiction about it. I find myself not wanting to stand back and not like it, yet I am drawn in, captivated, fascinated, and made to like it just because the elements that distract intrigue and attract. Kind of like it would be in real life. You see someone and think I'll go say "hello," but as you start to speak you see the warning signs and think "whoa maybe this isn't a good time!" So you back off and keep your distance, you suddenly don't want to be there, but at the same time you do because you really want to get close to the person and find out what's going on. But do you risk it?
