Description

The girls are just above this lava ooze that meets the sea. This is causing all the steam below them (see "Curious?" . Just on the other side of those brown/reddish rocks is a larger river of lava. I wish I could kick those rocks away to get a better view but the girls would come a tumbling down if I did. Aloha and thank you for viewing

It would be so hard not to want to look more closely at this amazing sight, the girls were very lucky, but I have a feeling I'd be doing the same thing--it's just too incredible!!

You are lucky and wise. The girls-- they are just lucky. Proof is you got a stunning shot of them and know better than they do about the dangers, too.

The change in color is really great. I find the look over the side to be so interesting. What a great opportunity you had but I think maybe you are too close to the edge too! :-)

A spectacular shot, Errol! I can just imagine the noise and steam if a big wave came in over that red lava. It seems that you're a bit close to the edge yourself. Be careful, my friend.
