Description

As lava oozes on the newly formed sand, its rival the ocean rushes in to stop her. The battle goes on for days/nights/years and much steam is blown off into the wind. The battle has been going on for centuries and will continue to go on. One day, my island will be as big as your land. Until then, I'll call my land The Big Island. Aloha and thank you for viewing

Exciting and awesome. We get to see the craters, the cold lava that makes a black landscape, and only imagine a time when they were hot and the fire lit up the night sky. Now I add steam to my imagination, thanks to your enlightening and excellent work. Aloha!

Amazing that something we tend to consider "ancient history" is still going on in our world now...just goes to show you! Great capture, thanks for sharing this with those of us who might take the evolution of the earth for granted!

You've got to be too close to the edge this time... but thank you for it. I love this look into the moving lava and waves.

I bet it is like a steam bath out there. With all that HOT lava hitting the ocean, very humid and hot. Another great shot. Stay safe. Aloha
