Description

This is pretty much right out of the camera, I just cropped it. I kept thinking the light was too bright, but who am I to quarrel with Mother Nature--she's WAY smarter than I am. The light in a redwood forest is exactly this way. There's such a canopy of those talls trees, that when the light does make it thru, it's often every bit as bright as you see it here. Other times, it's softer; it changes at every single turn. Put on your sunglasses and ZOOM!!!

I think ferns and palm ferns must have magic in them. The light always makes them speak. This is a perfect capture and exactly how the light looks.

When it comes to Mother Nature I gues you just have to go with the flow. Excellent use of available light Marilyn, I imagine there aren't that many spots where the sun shines through the canopy. Bravo!!!!!

Spotlight is right. Really stark contrast and great compo in this shot, Marilyn. Actually, even though it's not nice, Photoshop was invented to fool Mother Nature.
