Description

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well =) Currently staying in a pretty sweet villa down in the south of France having made an almost week-long road trip down here with my sister on which the picture total already exceeds 1,500... many are family snaps and memory shots but I've been taking the odd 'considered' shot too. Unfortunately the internet is a bit slow here and besides I didn't come here to sit inside all day prodding at a machine(!) but I thought I'd pop my head in to say hi and upload a little taster from the way down.. this shot was taken in La Rochelle about halfway down the Atlantic coast of France. Something a bit different from me on this one I guess - I've been exploring different styles lately, among them geometry, shadows, and angles (though primarily I've been working on my street photography - more of which in time). I know it's not strictly an anchor but thought the title kinda suited the image. Couldn't decide whether I liked it better in b&w or colour, and in the end went for a kind of halfway house, desaturating it a bit. I'll pop on a little bit later this evening and try and catch up with galleries and comments but for now there's a cold glass of something calling me from the poolside =) Have a great day! Adam

Good one, Adam. The tilt works great here and doesn't have that awkward feel that I get sometimes with tilted shots. Sounds like you are having a wonderful time. Keep it up. :-)
