Description

Lawmuir Farm is defintely growing more plants these day, because of, not instead of the heavy, unrelenting rain. This is more of a mouse's eye view of the nettle rain forests which result from global warming, allegedly ... ;o) VUE 6 Infinite, switching between two PCs. Since I do not have the resources tagged, I am unable to specify the vendors and / or the sites. My apologies. This .VUE had a horrendous number of polygons and two ecosystems, although it did render in about 25 minutes or so. No water since I kept crashing VUE when I attempted to mix water .MATs to give me a new water material. Maybe next time. Enjoy the illusion of summer. Our summer has returned these last few weeks, with lots and lots of seasonal rain.. ;-( Warm regards, from a torrential Glasgow, John.

Yes, Mark and Cyberzen1, the shadows are quite harsh, but when we get that rare sunshine, up here in Scotland, it does tend to be quite strong ... ;o) Artists come from all over the world because of the quality of the light ( and four seasons in an hour weather, of course ). I rarely mess about with an atmosphere in VUE. In NATURAL SCENE DESIGNER, yes, it seems so much easier to produce a new variant, without rendering times sky rocketing... Even TERRAGEN is easier, I feel, as far as atmosphere creation is concerned. Perhaps I just do not wish to wait hours for a render. Therefore, quick, simple atmospheres are what I use. Warm regards ( especially from my PC's overworked fan ), John.
