Description

We always think of immortals as forever young. What if immortality doesn't work that way? What if they just keep accumulating all the wear and tear that we do? This particular angel seems to have accumulated some milage. On a somewhat related note, I had a great time at an art show recently and was sort of offered a commission. Specifically, she asked for some male angels. I don't think this was quite what she had in mind, but I wanted to do a practice piece before attempting the more specifics of what she was after. And thanks again for all the comments/faves on my last image, JALP #19:

Ahsure there's a difference with immortality and eternal youth ;) Excellent work on haracter and expression, you should rework it a bit by making his eyes and hair brighter, as face is a character's main "focus point" ... Congrats!

Interesting idea and it came out really well, even though I'm not one for angels personally (or demons for that matter!). Looks like he's been through the paces all right though...
