At first I saw the one with the flowers, then I found the other one down further with the very different siding!! Sounds like you two had a great day!!

Glad you all had a great day Mick. This just goes to show who has more pride in their houses than their neighbours ... or maybe they just have a bit more money. Tony.

Unlike Tanglimara, I think it shouldn't be allowed! Great to clean the sandstone, but to PAINT the bricks......NOOOOOOO! If they've got enough dosh, perhaps they'd like to pay for cleaning the whole row! Glad you had a super time!

I have to agree with Andrea, it would have looked a lot better sand blasted than painted, yes Alan, I worked in two brickyards making building bricks. To have my work painted over is not a nice feeling, and to paint over the natural stone is tantamount to sacrilege. Rant over! Well spotted Mick, it looks like some misguided person has more respect for his property than the rest of the street, however I do think he went about it the wrong way. At first I thought the one with the flowers as that stands out more than the rest, then I spotted the paint job.#;0). Excellent work. Bravo!!!!! Glad you had a good day out with David, I hope its as good when we meet up.

Well spotted! Maybe there was a reason they had to do it, a house fire or something? At any rate, at least they won't go home to the wrong house by mistake!

Agree with Maria, the DOF is superb mate, I was thinking how much these houses remind me of Coronation Street, that was the last time I watched TV, it was ages ago, in fact Alma Sedgwick was in it, before marrying Mike Baldwin..LOL
