Description

morning all :o) this was an experimental shot whilst learning myself about shutter speed ,exposure and motion .the day in question has been more or less typical of our summer so far this year and so i thought was a good day to start learning more about the different effects that can be achieved .i looked at this a few times debating on whether i liked it and have to admit it has grown on me :o).. i`m meeting david (fred255) today and hopefully if the weather holds should be able to get some shots .at the moment its dry but more rain is forecast ,so fingers crossed . nothing special was in the pies just steak and mushroom .i make them for myself as june is still on her slimming world diet thing which involves eating quorn this and that as she can`nt mix meat with potatoes or pasta .quorn is like eating cardboard and so i steer clear of it lol :o) i am still a little way behind with some of you guys but i will get caught up .thanks for looking and take care mick

Kinda like here, only we get fog, not so much rain--still a nice shot, looks wet and blustery!! As for the "quorn", I have NO idea what it is, never heard of it, and don't think I'll try it!! Steak mushroom pie sounds MUCH better!!

Yep, a typical view out of my window is this one Mick, just rain, rain and more rain. I'm from Manchester and it's raining again this morning. Tony.

This 'experimental' shot as you put it has captured some great blustery movement from the trees giving a great indication of wind and rain, thats all we have seen recently. I saw some leaves that had turned orange and red yesterday and thought is that the end of Summer then? !!!

Lovely effect, you've done a great work, Mick! Here we are all going to melt, it's to hot so many days that I wouldn't mind some fresh air and rain ;O)

Great animation qualities, an experiment turning out very good. I hope you have a ball meeting David and Diane?

The effects of the moving plants exemplify the stormy weather. Have fun on your day out with David!!

It rained here last night, it's raining right now, and it's supposed to rain for the next couple of days. I like your shot very much - it looks normal to me! :)

I take it one step further than June...when I diet - seriously - I drop meat altogether. It works but I have to stay out of the kitchen when someone is cooking and sit at a separate table with meat is served or I end up acting like a starving baboon! :-) Your experiment is a very interesting one. Can't say if I like it or what but I find it intriguing. Must mean its good then, or it would have no interest at all.

That looks just like the sky outside my window right now Mick, I keep saying this is now a typical English sky. I'm glad there are so many sunrises and sunsets here on RR, other wise I would forget what the old sol o'meo looks like. Hope your meet up with David went well. and I got your message by the way, and have stored the number, I will ring nearer the time. Excellent experimental shot, I think you have captured the very essence of an English summer day. I just hope it gets better soon. Bravo!!!!!

Great experiment Mick, you captured the weather very well! Lots of wind in those leaves:-) In mine you can tell the wind is blowing because it shows the backside of the leaves. I find it very interesting what the camera will do! or not!
