Description

Another of my greenhouse plants. The common name for this type of begonia is the "Eyelash Begonia" I tried to get an extreme close up of the edge to illustrate how well it is named. This close makes the DOF so small, even at f22 as in this example but it does consentrate your eyes on the subject!

Ooooh, yes, it reminds me of the ice plant Mesembryanthemum. The eyelashes look quite cruel - as though they are drawing the lifeblood from the Begonia. Another amazing photograph.
