Description

Yesterday ends the dumb people. Hope you like it and learn too. Hope you all got shots of what people doing dumb stuff? I like to see them. We got black bear here but I never saw any. They rare in this state. I know other states have a lot of them and saw on tv where they can raid a house and take food out of it fast. laff at one carrying a cake holder with the cake in it out the back door. the man they called for help came and yelled at the bear the bear drop the cake and ran off then. hahhah still laffing about it. But gators is diff you do not mess with them; You can yell at them and they may look at you and may come after you then. I was watching the movie "faces of death"[real footage] and this policeman walked to where a big gator was and order it to leave the grounds. His face change real fast as the gator got him and killed him.[that was in Florde]. I heard a gator at Lake M artin had a four foot log in it mouth. I ask the man who told me this why? The man did not know; but the gator was just moveing it head side to side with it . He got photos of it. I may see that one time and hope to get some photos too. Animals is nice to see and most fear man too but you have to respect them for they can hurt and even kill you. Thanks for looking and comments. This be my last gator image I post for now. If I get some shots of baby gators or a gator doing something off the wall I post it OK

One scary critter. On zoom, the blue veining in what may be an eyelid stands out. Guess it's the colors, but it sure reminds me of a WWII U-boat running while broaching the surface. Good image.

The cold blooded move quickly when it is warm. and as I observed just some sun in cold is enough to charge them up.

Splendid shot of a mam gator. The story is well ended but why people want to go before danger ? I asked you, why the gator is blue and not green ???Thanks dear artfriend !

Wonderful shot and documentary, Jock. I admire you for your caring, when it comes to the safety of these magnificent jurassic reptiles. She is a beauty, that Mom Gator. Fascinating animal. Hope she makes it. You did some fine work here by telling people, that these animals are not toys. I hope some got the message.+5

Laughing at the bear story... we have lots of black bears here and lots of dumb people as well, they feed them, and then wonder why they get aggressive and attack people.. there are some good lessons in your photos and stories I hope people will learn from them.. thank you

Excellent capture! The stupid things aren't so obvious or out in the open all of the time. Sometimes it's having kids when the gene pool is already too polluted. I don't have any shots like yours to share, but last week I could have gotten one in a parking lot, of an older Saturn that backed into a shiny red Ferrari and took out the right rear bumper.

Excellent shot, Jock. And a typical one at that. The ones I have seen in Texas and Florida (with the exception of one) have been exactly like this. Hard to spot but no less dangerous. The one that was not seen like this was 8 feet and in a friend's back yard one morning. Just laying there, stretched out...dead as a doornail. My daughter has the entire collection of Faces of Death - something like 8 or 9 videos. Interesting stuff.

Fantastic lighting and textures in the closeup shot of Mrs Gator, Jock! Looks like layers of tar that need to be smoothed out with a spatula. Actually, other than chasing and killing dumb people, she leads quite a boring and humdrum life, just lying around and protecting her eggs.
