My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

This is fascinating! I love that you removed cobwebs as you did! Care to try at my place? (ladders are coming out tomorrow!)

Excelent pov Tara. First an empty chocko box up side down came into my mind. See what an abstract does to ppl...lol. But seriously, this is a cool shot and a warm texture of the wood shows so well and a light give an extra fascination to this picture.

Now, if only we could remove the cobwebs in real life as easily... lol. Wonderful shot :)
artaddict2
You have a great artistic eye Tara! Great light, pattern and textures, and I would have never have guessed there were any cobwebs lol

It is amazing the work that went into making this replica azumaya, it must be a very strong structure, and much more than a shelter from the sun or rain. I hope you got a shot of the exterior Tara, you have whetted my appetite now. I don't know what wood was used to build it but it looks very warming. Excellent capture, a very rich image, love everything about it. Bravo!!!!!

Excellent capture Tara, I would imagine it was a blessed shelter from the scorching sun, something we have had little of lately :(..Nice one my dear!
MrsRatbag
Yes, this is a wonderful shot! The light is marvelous. When I was there it was full of a group of students, so I never got up close to see this, but it wouldn't have looked the same anyway with all the rain. Great work!
awjay

Great shot!
Shiroyama
the criss-cross and diagonals, the golden color of the wood, and the play of shadow and light -- a gorgeous shot!

A stellar POV in this marvelous grid-like array of squares, beams, corners, angles, light, shadow, amber texture, looking all spic and span after you meticulously eliminated the cobwebs, Tara.
Lunastar
