Description

You haven't heard LOUD until one of these does a high speed pass at about 700 MPH 100 feet over the runway right in front of you, well out a little ways :-) Took this shot handheld with my 40-150mm zoom, and using the sports setting to stop him dead in the air. Glad Olympus has image stabilization, ...yes, I was shaking! Action was fast, sky was blue and flights were stunning. This is an Air Force F-15 Strike Eagle in the skies over Kansas City, August 24, 2008.

PHOOAARH! I have experienced this- and a Mig 25 doing the same thing. I could even smell the exhaust fumes! My ears are still ringing but it was heavenly! Sorry, I can only give you a rating of 5!
