Description

This is the plant that yesterdays seed pod came from. It was requested by jenny, to see what the plant actually looks like. This is it about 5 feet high, with huge bronzy palmate leaves. I have included a close up of a cluster of the red seed pods. The variety is called "Carmencita"

Thankyou Thankyou Kevin. It is a beauty isn't it, and its seed pods look very enticing....So the only resemblance between the Aralia Sieboldii plant that I have is in that the leaves are also palmate, but green and glossy. It's a lovely composition here with the Bamboo, Begonia and Cosmos. You have some super plants.

Certainly a different castor bean than my mother grew. Her's had leaves nearly 18-20 inches across and dense! They stood about 5-6 feet but I never saw the seeds! This is very interesting and I also thank you for the splendid view.
