Description

This is part of a wind chime outside my bedroom window. It was given to me by my son's first true love and has been there for several years. It started out as a very pale blue; over the years it's faded, and he lost part of his fin. It's also covered with moss and all kinds of organic stuff, I keep thinking I should go out and clean him off...someday!!!

just tell yourself the critter is feeding off the organic material by osmosis...I justify most of my dirt with association to osmosis :-)

Oh, but all of the moss and stuff has given it a wonderful patina. Blends with the wonderful foliage around your house.

The back lighting in this capture really, truly, gives this image some pop. Love the basic geometry and those bright effervescent textures, so diaphanous and ethereal, Marilyn!
