Description
Summer is waning, and small creatures hurry to complete their appointed tasks before their time is up.
With a long holiday weekend coming up, I will finally have time to catch up in the galleries here.
Thank you very kindly for your views, comments and faves on my recent image. I truly appreciate it.

I've exhausted my lexicon of superlatives when it comes to your photographs, Maria! Your work is absolutely nonpareil, if that will suffice.

I agree that summer is waning, but as you know (in our area), September can have several weeks of wicked hot weather. The recent rains helped break the back of consistent 100 degree F days but summer will most likely have a last hurrah, lol. Nice capture of this pretty Butterfly. Thanks for sharing. Lee
