I have no clue as to what trillium is but it reminds me of rose hips. Great shot and the vibrant color is appeasing to the eye! Have a safe and great weekend George.....

Definitely not an Australian species (!), but the fruit also reminds me of the Rosehip fruit. ( makes beautiful tea ) Thank you for sharing...nice catch. BB
