Nice capture..I saw this along with it's two escorts on Friday..Heard them approach from the direction of Hurn, that alone sent shivers down my spine and goose-fleshed my skin. The hurricane & spitfire were singing a merry dance as they flew over head, kind of like a mock dog fight..For once I was in the right place at the right time.. I like that you chose to show this as B&W, adds nostalgia!

I know they have to be..but these wonderful aircraft never look quite right to me so shiny! Lovely photo though and agree with everyone, there is no sound like a 'Merlin'.
