Description

This is the only decent colour pic I got on the day, the rest were taken into the sun so lots of silhouettes!

A marvelous shot of this iconic bomber, James hit the nail on the head, you can't mistake those merlin engines, Great capture of the only surviving air worthy Lancaster.

Great pic. I know about haze and harsh background lighting. I have lost many shots to bad lighting.

Hey! What a surprise! And a great shot too.... I too know about the 'only getting a few good shots out of 200 taken' syndrome! This IS a great one. Very well done. Rob.

Great and historic warhorse. I am still new to Rendo and the aviation genre but am lovng it. I too have experienced sun in the eyes (and lens) when the airshow was great but the time of the day was wrong. Bill

Nothing beats the sound of those old warbirds. PD154: The Canadian Warbird Heritage has an airworthy Lanc that still takes to the air: VR-A. So there are at least still two flying.
