Description

A while back I posted an image with the title 'We don't need no education..." and I asked you to guess what you were looking at. A few of you got the clue right away (Pink Floyd Fans for sure), but I bet you still weren't sure what you were looking at. Well, I've decided to shine the light(s) on the wall and show you what you were looking at. This is another Photoshop job. Playing with the lighting effects. I actually like how this turned out, for just messing around. Now the request: after discussing the issue with mikeerson regarding my being tagged again, this time by Steve (eekdog) that dawg! We've come up with an idea. but first this: I have come to know and respect all of you at Renderosity. I've admired your posts and even raved about a lot of them. And I've come to admire you as the fine artists and people you are. Which puts me in one hell of a bind. I want to continue the game, even though I've been tagged a second time. But as I stated just above, I admire and respect you and your art! Which means I have a hard time even thinking about tagging any one of you. So here's the idea: For any of you who would like to be involved in this game and be tagged by me, I would like you to pick a colour and a number. And if you are the lucky one, You will be tagged. Should I pick one of you based on your picks I will SM you to let you know and we'll discuss how it will be done. This is completely voluntary. Like I said, I respect you and your art and I wish to continue the game... but, because of that respect, I need your help and participation. With that said, This will force me to learn DAZ even faster and so You;ll get to see my renderings even sooner. I know that some of your are curious as to what genre I'll be posting in... You'll see. Thanks all of you for making me feel welcome in this community Mike FM55

Don't TAG me man, I don't know who would come up with a crazy game like that... Artists must be hiding their art from their galleries right now because they don't want somebody coming around and tagging it... Who invented this crazy TAG game anyway??? If you truely new me, you would know exactly what color and number I'd pick, so what is it???? Oh, you say you don't know me that well? Well, we site mail each other all the time - lol ... I'm just having fun with ya, I personally love the inventer of this TAG game and would personally shake thier hand, but I don't think that's possible.... so, do you give up on what my color and number is? Floresent Green - always has been my favorite color... and the number 4 - it too has always been my favorite number. Good like finding your next TAG victem... can't wait to see it.

I got this the first time around. Pink Floyd being my most favorite rock group. My comment about "could be sausage or pudding" was a reference back to both the lyrics of the song and also the scene in the movie with the school bus of kids with masks ending up on the conveyor in the sausage factory. The actual lyric is "If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding! How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?" Great Photo! Great Song! Great Group!

Anyone who didn't get the first picture just either isn't a floyd fan or too young to know the song, orrrrrrr.... a total cube. (the lunatic is in your head) Seth

I like this one and not only that I would suggest taking more like this and putting them up for others to buy and use as mats for objects. Love the way the shadows play around the edges Nice work here

OK, got the first one...and must admit I like that one better... much more abstract or obtuse, and it would make a great background for a poser image me thinks. Amazing how a change in light/lighting etc can make such a difference. great photography!!

Another excellent texture thingy .. a little different with lights! YOu really think being tagged's a punishment? It looks fun to me! Even though you have to spend some time thinking things out. And learn a 3D program .. but why can't you just do what you did again in PSP or PhotoShop? That was pretty cool!

Okay I didn't see the first one, but here I'm gonna take a trip out on a limb and say A WALL! Stucco? (please dun hurt me g) I couldn't resist. But you know, with the right lighting and mood set, even something so simple as a stucco wall can be incredibly beautiful. Cleverly done and now I'm going to have to go back and see the other image! And for the record, the lunatic isn't in the hall or my head....the lunatic is sprawled out behind me asleep...oh, wait, that's just the dog. I've seen other people talking about this 'tag' thing....could you possibly elaborate for me (Pat, I'd like to buy a clue). Thanks! :-)
