Description

Hello ! It took long time to create this one. I am exhausted today and I can barely keep myself on this chair, but I had this idea to try to make some kind of Shell. It is just the common mussel. The others are pretty old. Just took a shot of them and cut them out from the background and used them here. Thanks for having a look and for your kind comments to yesterdays post. Special thanks to those who added it too. Have a lovely day. We still have a wonderful weather. I hope the hurricane didnt make any damage over there.

Beautiful near-abstract composition, I like the sandy effect between the Mytilus and Cassidaria.

well, let's see if I can repeat my forum comment (LOL)...basically helle, you've made a really vivid montage, with a really nice treatment of mussel shells, capturing the sweep of their lines and also their incandescence, and you blended the wheat chaffs with them perfectly (the wheat is a great divider!) and then made a wonderful top half with those ghost-like shells—or as Suzanne put it in the forum (here I go quoting Suzanne again!) they look like shells half-buried in the sand. A really nice effect. It's a complex, multi-textured theme piece (shells), and even the chaffs are shells of a sort. A great start for the theme, and a really fun image to boot. Rest! You earned it! 5 stars!

Meget kunstnerisk og kreativt, meget smukt. Der er meget at se på og farverne er regnbue/olieplet i vandpyt aktige. Total syret og genialt. Godt gået Faster:)
