Description
I have a question for you this day. How heavy is your bag? You appear to look puzzled about this question. We all carry around old baggage from our past. The heavier it is, the more tired we feel. So here is a creative visualization for you to try this day. Look at your self in the mirror... imagine yourself holding a bag filled with old worries and doubt. Each one is tucked away and packed in a beautiful parcel that is wrapped in bright colored paper and tied with a colorful ribbon. Fill your bag up really full... it is as large as Santa's sack. Now imagine that you are lifting the bag up and throwing it over your shoulder. Does it feel heavy? Is it making you slump slightly? Next imagine that you are taking those old worries and doubts out of your bag one at a time... they are beautifully wrapped. Open the ribbon on your package and notice that there is a little poof sound. That is the contents of your package evaporating into thin air. Take out a few more packages and open them. Now your bag should feel lighter... pick it up and toss it over your shoulder again. Do you still feel the weight of the bag? Put the bag down again on the floor. Now take out more packages and open them up. As you open each package, the contents disappears into thin air along with the package. This is you allowing yourself to release that which no longer serves you. Keep doing this until you know your bag is empty. Now pick up your bag and toss it over your shoulder. It's as light as a feather now, isn't it? Try this exercise a few times and you will be amazed at how much lighter and more energized you will feel. How divine. How simply divine.
Our thought for the day is: 'The place you are in needs you today.' Quote by Katherine Logan
I wish you a day of sunshine and rainbows and may there always be peace in your valley of life.

A lovely image of lightness. I've let go of many things in my bag, but my broken heart seems still too heavy to even lift. But there are those rare times when there is nothing but the beauty of the moment, and that is pure joy and lightness. CC

Gayle, This is a wonderful and creative idea! Visualizations help so much, I have found. I think we tend to visualize perhaps more than we are consciously aware of. If we weigh ourselves down, we can learn to reverse the process and to let go. My bag is getting lighter all the time! Beautiful flamework too! Lea
