Oh!!! congrats Nikolay, how did I miss that? You so deserve it! Beautiful shot again! I am still working on getting the courage to try black and white or sepia...I think it takes the perfect image for that tho! You seem always to have the perfect image!

I love how Mother Nature takes back the earth, slowly, steadily. In time it will be difficult to find anything of this camp. A beatiful picture, well captured, seems to exude a sense of quietness ..

if ever there was a poem to decay, this is it, because while the structure is abandoned, it's surrounded (as decay often is) by lush overgrowth and abandoned greenery. What we call weeds are of course medicine and power to people of the land, and your sepia and greenish grays make the overgrowth feel like a grand carpet. It's lush, and the lightening of the greenery as it recedes into space makes it seem as if it goes on forever. The beauty of great photography is that it can capture infinity even in a tiny patch of land near a parking lot—I'm not suggesting this is such a piece of land, but that even if it was, you could make it seem infinite because a fine eye finds the infinity in everything. And the light—eating up the edges of the leaves (over-saturation perhaps)—only beautifies the decay all the more, telling us that abandonment can be poetic & lush as well as lonely. A beautiful shot, through and through.
