Description
A little while before my friend Chandra passed-away, she was here. She took out a piece of silk, said "make me a bookmark!" I thought, "ooookay!" So I took out gouaches and colored pencils, placed the silk on a piece of paper, and drew.
This is the result.
I like to think it's Native American..but whatever you wish to see is fine. Hope that you enjoy it. And to Chandra, wherever you are, you inspire me even in your absence, and always will...
Thanks for all your comments and favs, and know they are truly appreciated.
Peace to you all,
Mark

Beautiful abstract work.

This is so intense - very fine work; and would scale up to a banner or stay a wee image both easily, a hard thing to do.

Wonderful to see it a little bigger than in the forum. I adore the intense colors and the pattern that feels so attractive and in a way well-known to me. I really can see it big on a wall for my inner eye.

This is so beautiful. I hope you forgive me if I interpret what I see. This is a bright cozy room complete with its own grand piano, a half open shade to keep track of the cosmic happenings outside (see the moon?!?)The piano is accompanied (pun) by a desk from where falls many fine works of art. Near the bed is a beautiful oriental rug and both are surrounded by slumbering deep blue for a much needed rest. If you ask me tomorrow I might see something completely different. It's precious, Mark.
