Private erection is just as important as public forms. You've found it and brought it to us.

Splendiferous clarity and vivid colors in this photo, Lynell. Kind of looks like a garage with doors on both ends. Apparently, Jenkins is the only one allowed to use this crossing.

LOL. Funny pic. Covered bridge doubles as a garage/carport?

This is the cutest covered bridge I've ever seen Lynell, I have never seen one so small before.

I talked to the man that lived there, he saw me out there taking pictures and walked down to say hello, and yes the bridge is privately owned and he told me he bred Tenneessee walking horses, and invited me to see them. And you can't really tell but there is a stream below the bridge that is why he built it.

oh this must be seen full-size. It's quite beautiful. You've captured the grain & decay of the wood and all the odds and ends of a private & beloved structure. I'd have guessed it was privately owned, there are too many pieces of a life in it to be public...And you get this texture to your backgrounds that is part magic and part old-print, like the old glass prints of the early 20th C.—that's a compliment, believe me: You capture branches, wires, mesh that are so brittle & delicate, they almost look like the cracks of an aged & beloved photo. They're energy lines as much as 'things'...And the trees have an ethereal feel, almost like they were dreamt-on. A snapshot of a way of life that's disappearing from a lot of this country, something to add to the archive of its real beauty, and in the end, it's just plain joyous. A real treat.

A dual purpose bridge and garage combined, if you left stuff like that on display around here it would be all gone in the morning, even the building. Excellent shot Lynell, I see its a bit red in places, lol. I hope you managed to get some shots of his horses? Well spotted, an unusual structure, expertly captured. Bravo!!!!!

LOL..... I LOVE THIS! The owners are creative and have a sense of fun and pride. All the assorted bits and bobs are interesting and it would be fun to explore the inner walls. Wonderful shot and I find this presentation much better, the simple frame works much better for me.
