Mornin' All *S* Just one more "weirdie" then I'll resume normal programming :o) So. . . noooo, this isn't about Identification as in ID card etc....au contraire mes amis, this is all about that little hidden goody we all carry around within us tucked neatly away in our gray matter, and according to Freud, et al, is part of the holy trinity of our very own secret selves the Id, Ego and Super-Ego Here's some info for those of you who only have a passing acquaintance with the wonderful world of the Id: The id is responsible for our basic drives such as food, sex and aggressive impulses, and demands immediate satisfaction. It is amoral and egocentric, ruled by the pleasure-pain principle; it is without a sense of time; completely illogical; primarily sexual; infantile in its emotional development; will not take 'no' for an answer; is without verbal representation and therefore does not enter consciousness. Very cool work, Sugar Plum. Interesting info on the ID. I have forgotten what sex and aggressive impulses are. But i enjoy food..especially dog bisquits.:) A fantastic composition with a phallocratic expression.:) Very cool work on the objects in the picture. Prefect colouring too. Made with a master eye.

your weirdies are only another one of your depths, and I hope you post lots of them along with everything else. It's beautifully webbed and veiled yet beautifully inviting at the same time. it really is. I love the skewed squares (you've given us 3 dimensional squares that protrude & skew her face in subtle ways). And the beautiful splashes of passionate reds (how could they not be there!). I'll enter unarmed anyday...there's too much wisdom & beauty inside to let us be guarded. A real beauty.
