Description
Well - that is my 400th. Long time since i posted up some random shots i took on a short break in Scotland with my (now dead) Canon A95. And i can safely say i've improved since then, and hope to continue improving.
Here's the staple for eye candy to mark the occasion. Taken a bit further on down the hill from the last shot from a field at the edge of the woods. You can see why this was such a nice sunset if you look at the haze across the landscape (just to the left of the large tree in the centre you will see a distant hill looking very blue) - very dusty that day... was waiting for sunset since i stepped outside that day and it didnt disappoint :)
Anyway, thanks for the supportive and especially the critical comments left over the years, they have helped me on this wee journey.

Rich, this is an incredible shot. The view chosen proves your good eye for composition and the postwork and camera techniques show how very skillful you are. Always a first rate photographer, you have made changes in those 400 uploads. Each one has been a learning example for me and helped to set my own goals. Thanks for it all. :-)
