Description
My straw hat. Hand held, indoors, incandescent light, no flash. I know many of you thought the cowboy hat was mine (from earlier in the summer), but no ... this one's mine. The cowboy hat was Jill's.

Edit note: I don't watch many movies, and have never seen The Full Monty, so I've no idea what everyone's on about. I didn't set out to create any association! (Except perhaps with the Joe Cocker song, which is awesome.)

I don't know, 'tie a yellow ribbon' came to me when I saw this, I remember the hats in Full Monty, but didn't associate them with this at all. Excellent image and postwork Tara, it looks so warm and summery, warm sunshine and a cooling breeze, walking in a garden. It would even look good in that Japanese one you've just shown us. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

Watch the movie or read the book - they are both good and great fun. So is this hat of yours. I have an extensive hat collection for every occassion...except for formal outtings, but then I don't do formal anymore.:-) Good job with the black background. Nice details.
