It's all about the light.

I hate to tell all you purists out there, but this kitchen will be going away and will be replaced with a modern, state-of-the-art kitchen. I have no idea what it will look like when they're done. They did purchase the house in order to remodel it, after all, so change is inevitable!

This is a great shot, Tara, and I guess I'm not a purist, because I certainly agree with the 'boys'! This kitchen has to go! This lovely light is likely to enhance a revamped kitchen just as well!

I hope they manage to save the little shelf with the cup on, maybe find another place for it. I wonder what the little door is for at the side of the window, seems an odd place to have a cupboard of sorts. I can't see it being a serving hatch. I am in agreement also that the exsisting kitchen has to go, maybe demolished and extended(have I read that already some where?) Wonderful light now, I wonder how it will look in a couple of years time? It seems to me the house is bare and clinical almost, I'm sure it will take on a warm glow once Trent and David move in. Once they get some personal items in there the light will totaly change. Excellent work Tara. Bravo!!!!!
