My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

The light is lovely in this incarnation; I'm sure it will be even more so in the remodel! Great shot, I love it in B&W...

It IS all about the light--and this light is just so sweet and soft and wonderful!!

This is a great shot, Tara, and I guess I'm not a purist, because I certainly agree with the 'boys'! This kitchen has to go! This lovely light is likely to enhance a revamped kitchen just as well!

….very beautiful photo of “empty” house. Completely it is however not empty: I see a cup and a towel ;-))

Very beautiful pic! My 1923 kitchen had an oak draining board, not tiles. very interesting!

I hope they manage to save the little shelf with the cup on, maybe find another place for it. I wonder what the little door is for at the side of the window, seems an odd place to have a cupboard of sorts. I can't see it being a serving hatch. I am in agreement also that the exsisting kitchen has to go, maybe demolished and extended(have I read that already some where?) Wonderful light now, I wonder how it will look in a couple of years time? It seems to me the house is bare and clinical almost, I'm sure it will take on a warm glow once Trent and David move in. Once they get some personal items in there the light will totaly change. Excellent work Tara. Bravo!!!!!

I enjoyed your house series very much. I love to spend time in old, empty houses and feel all the life it has seen. This is a great house, and you've taken some wonderful shots. Thanks for sharing them.

Goodbye to the old stuff, modern fittings are better to keep clean:)...Great shot Tara, and the monochrome works well here.

... I'd love to have an all-white kitchen .... but I'm sure whatever they decide to do with it, it'll be beautiful. I sure look forward to seeing the stages of the remodeling. :)
