Description

Result of experimenting with Photoshop filters. Probably should have placed this in "photo manipulation" category rather than Atmosphere/Mood. CHANGE 1: Prevailing wisdom has it that use of filters is not photo manipulation...PM only when two or more photos are put together resulting in something that was not actually there. Your comments are always greatly appreciated. Thanks for visiting. Bill

Interesting work, my friend. This is a bit like photographic 'modern art', and that kinda leaves me cold. I like the original, real thing. Natural views in artwork. But, no dought, I too will play with my new photoshop, so I'm one to talk!! It is good work for the type though, Rob.

like a special drawing with this filter...enhences the compo by reducing the object to their outlines

Your choice of genre is fine. Photo manipulation doesn't mean you've fussed with your picture, it means you've combined two or more images to come up with something that didn't exist before. If we all posted images under "photo manipulation" because we'd used a few filters or altered the image in Photoshop, there would be very little left for other categories! I love what you've done with this. I've never had much luck with getting an image to look like a fine line drawing! You did a great job!
