Description
All six of the Thunderbirds' F-16s make a sweeping final pass over the crowd prior to landing in sequence. Kansas City, Aug 24, 2008.
I was fortunate to be at the right place at the right time :-)
I found the sky to be a special blue late in the afternoon... It made just the right backdrop for the finale.
What a show!
The folks who stage the Kansas City Aviation Expo & Airshow have done so since 1990 to introduce the science, adventure and romance of aviation to youth...under the Mid American Youth Aviation Association. Lots and lots of youngsters in attendance. And lots of adults who felt like kids for an afternoon.
