Description

Pier - Lytham St Anne's So the weather actually stopped raining in the UK for a while which gave me the chance to get out and about.During the day we had cloud - rain -wind and the skies and light seemed to change every few minutes. This is the pier at Lytham St Anne's - Lancashire. At the end of the pier there is an old jetty that looks like in the old days it was some sort of structure that had either bells or lights on it. The little white bits on the beach are sea shells..I think they are cuttle fish shells

Well composed...great flow to this! The angle of the log/driftwood in the foreground draws my eyes into the frame and to the pier, then continues to follow it out to the smaller one in the distance. That mint green coloring really stands out too!

cuddlefish are great for birds so I wonder why there aren't more about in this shot. But I am glad they aren't for the starkness of this shot is very moving.
