Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

It already has some interesting innovations in the form of the indvidual stamped steel rocker arms with no collective shaft for them to run on. If you tip this thing over (and at this point it weighs 550 pounds minus about 40 for the intake manifold and another 40 or so for the exhaust manifolds.) you can see if it has four bolt main caps. You can also take the heads off and see if it has 2.02 inch intake valves. Right here if you look closely you can see it has five bolts heads around every cylinder with one shared with the next cylinder. It's iron it's not DOHC or SOHC and it isn't 32V but only 16. Mercedes won Indy not too long ago with pushrod engine like this showing the type isn't obsolete. It is not just found art but foundry art. Check the serial number to see if it was made at Tonowondah or Saginaw.

This is just gorgeous. The other had interest and comparison but this is bright, cheerful and very visually appealing.

Are those miniature dianthus (what we call 'pinks')...a miniature form of carnation?
